Brett is a lifelong Methodist who was grew up in Lakeland, Florida. He came to Christ Church in 2013 after serving at Memorial United Methodist in Fernandina Beach, Rader Memorial in Miami and First United Methodist in Sebring. Brett has a bachelor's degree in public administration from Samford University, a master of divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a doctorate in New Testament and early Christianity from Iliff School of Theology at the University of Denver. He and his wife, Andra, have two daughters, Anna Brook and Emily. When not working, Brett enjoys running, fishing and playing guitar.
Josh Beaty has served on staff and as pastor in the Florida Conference since 2007. He received his undergraduate degree in pastoral ministries from Southeastern University and a master of divinity from Asbury Seminary. Before arriving at Christ Church in 2016, Josh served three years as senior pastor of College Park United Methodist in Orlando. Josh has a passion for helping people grow in their love for God and ability to love all people. He was born and raised in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Josh is married to Stephanie, and they have two beautiful children, Ella, and Jack. Josh enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, reading, and listening to podcasts. He has an affinity for bow ties, craft coffee and loose-leaf tea.

Monique McBride’s journey into ministry began when she was in college at the University of Florida, earning a bachelor's degree in English Literature, specializing in children's literature. While in college, she felt God calling her into children and family ministry. This passion guided her to pursue ordained ministry as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church, and she earned a Master of Divinity at Duke Divinity School with a specialization in Christian Education. After seminary, Monique was ordained as a Deacon in full connection in 2010. Monique served as minister of Christian education and family ministries at Trinity United Methodist in Gainesville for seven years. In 2012, she and her husband Ryan moved to Fort Lauderdale, where she served for three years at First United Methodist Church of Fort Lauderdale as minister of discipleship and chaplain to the preschool. Monique enjoys cooking and crafting, reading with a dog by her side, and rescuing furniture off the side of the road. The McBrides have two sons, Teddy and Matt.
