Runners Chapel

sundays | 6am | west circle drive of fort lauderdale church

Go into the whole world and preach the gospel. -- Matthew 16:15

Runners Chapel, a ministry led by Christ Church senior pastor and marathon runner Brett Opalinski, is part of the United Methodist Fresh Expressions initiative. The goal is to present a new form of worship for our changing culture, as well as to benefit those who may not be part of any church. Runners Chapel is another choice for members and attenders, as well as the community of athletes who run near our Fort Lauderdale campus early Sunday mornings.

Runners and walkers gather on Sunday mornings at 6am at the West circle drive of the Fort Lauderdale church for 20 minutes of devotions before heading out on runs of varying lengths and skill levels. Fellowship is offered afterwards through refreshments and encouragement.

If you have questions, or want to be involved in this ministry to fulfill Christ Church’s vision of reflecting the love, hope and joy to our community, please click here to contact Pastor Brett Opalinski.
