TREK Classes

TREK Classes | Running the Race of Faith

wednesdays | through december 20 | 6:30pm

“So then let's also run the race that is laid out in front of us, since we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us.”  (Hebrews 12:1)

TREK Classes—from the Greek word trexomen, meaning Let us Run!—are open to all. TREK Classes are designed to help those on the faith journey deepen their relationship with the Bible and foundational Christian beliefs. They are also good for people who are brand new to the faith journey and want to take the next steps in the race, as well as a way for people of all levels of faith experience to run faithfully with God, to keep growing.

You may attend the series (encouraged!), or choose the classes that interest you. (Please note that classes will meet bi-weekly, except as noted on the schedule below.) The Wednesday night classes schedule follows:

Foundational Christian Beliefs
  • December 13 - The Church
  • December 20 - Grace: The Love of God Poured Upon Us

Attend TREK Online

eTREK classes | thursdays | through december 21 | 12noon-1pm

This is an opportunity for people to attend the class via ZOOM, an online meeting site.  eTREK online classes will take place on Thursdays, from 12noon-1pm. When you sign up, you'll receive a link to join the class. ZOOM provides the technology for participants to respond with comments and questions, so just like the Wednesday night in-person classes, they will be interactive.

  • December 21 - Grace: The Love of God Poured Upon Us
To receive a link to the online classes, email Maureen Kaelbel, director of discipleship, by 11am Thursdays.
