What to Expect

We’re so glad you’re here. You’re invited to be a part of this community of people who are committed to reflecting the love, hope and joy of Jesus Christ to our community.  As you navigate this site, we trust you will discover your meaningful way to connect.

What is the vision of Christ Church?

We believe that Jesus calls us to reflect the love, hope and joy of Jesus Christ to our community.

What are the services like?

We offer six weekend worship opportunities, each with the same message but different styles. Formal or casual, traditional or contemporary, reflective or dynamic ... chances are we have a worship service that will fit your lifestyle and personality. Please click here for worship times and styles.

Can I get a copy of the sermon?

The easiest way to see a past message is to watch the video. Copies of this week’s sermon are available on CD for $2 at the front desk of the Fort Lauderdale church offices. You may also order CDs of past sermons.

Will I be singled out as a visitor?

We hope that you find us to be a friendly community;  we want you to feel as comfortable as possible when you visit our services. While we would love a chance to meet you, you don’t have to identify yourself as a visitor. We are a big enough church for you to slip into a worship service and check us out without identifying yourself to anyone, if that is what you choose. During the services you’ll have the opportunity to fill out a Connect Card, sharing information about yourself if you wish, and listing any prayer requests. You can also stop by the Information Table to learn more about the church and our ministries!  If you fill out a Connect Card and identify yourself as a guest, we will send you a gift.

What should I wear to the worship services?

Our gym services tend to be more casual, and the sanctuary and chapel services more formal. (But remember, this is Florida, where "formal" is still fairly casual and comfortable.) Children generally wear comfortable clothing. The general rule is: Come as you are! We want to meet your real life needs, and aren’t so worried about what you wear.
