ZOE EMPOWERS
In October 2019, Christ Church became a co-sponsor of the Takunda "Fellowship" Empowerment Group in Zimbabwe through Zoe Empowers. Christ Church Fort Lauderdale and the Apex Methodist Men's club partnered with a group of 31 orphaned households and a total of 97 children.

Amazingly resilient children of the Takunda Fellowship in Zimbabwe describe how the support and teaching from Zoe Empowers has helped them overcome hunger and health challenges, despite COVID 19. Christ Church is a co-sponsor of the Takunda Fellowship, 31 orphan households with a total of 97 children.

Meet Kenneth, a Zoe Empowers participant in Kenya. After three years in Zoe, he has developed businesses that employ 10 people and allow him to send his siblings to school. He has purchased land where he hopes to help other orphans too.
